ATTACHMENT-BASED INDIVIDUAL & COUPLES THERAPY
Understand the Patterns. Change the Connection.
You love each other, but somehow you keep having the same argument. Maybe one of you shuts down while the other pushes harder to be heard. Or perhaps you're struggling with ADHD, addiction, or behaviors that bring temporary relief but leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and the people you love.
These patterns didn't come from nowhere. In attachment-based therapy, we explore the experiences and emotional needs beneath them, not to fix who you are, but to understand yourself more deeply, embrace your authenticity, and take accountability for meaningful change.
DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
You Know Something Needs to Change. But You Keep Ending Up Here.
✧ You and your partner keep having the same arguments, even when you're both trying to communicate differently.
✧ ADHD, emotional overwhelm, or different ways of processing leave one of you feeling criticized and the other feeling unheard.
✧ You reach for shopping, substances, or other compulsive behaviors to find relief, only to feel guilt or disconnection afterward.
✧ You want to rebuild trust and intimacy, but defensiveness, resentment, or old wounds keep getting in the way.
✧ You understand your patterns intellectually, but when emotions take over, you find yourself responding the same way again.
Understanding yourself isn't the opposite of change. It's where change begins.

MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Hi, I'm Megan.
Megan Collins, LMFT | Attachment-Based Individual & Couples Therapist
I don't believe therapy is about fixing who we are. I believe it's about understanding who we are.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help individuals and couples explore the attachment patterns, emotional experiences, and protective behaviors shaping their relationships.
My approach combines compassion with accountability. Understanding why we respond the way we do doesn't mean ignoring the impact of our behavior. It means learning to embrace our authentic selves while making meaningful changes in how we connect, communicate, and care for one another.
Some of my greatest lessons about relationships have come from running with my three Siberian Huskies. They've taught me that healthy connection isn't about becoming the same. It's about understanding our differences and learning how to work together.
